Via-Tonda is the owner of Vita Counseling Services, PLLC. and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist trained in the practice of individual, couple, family, and group therapy. She is a native of Gastonia, NC. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pfeiffer University. Via-Tonda has worked in a community mental health agency servicing children and adolescents through school based therapy, outpatient therapy, and intensive in-home services. Via-Tonda has also worked in an outpatient setting providing services for a diverse group of individuals, couples, and families. Via-Tonda has completed Level I Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Via-Tonda is also trained in EMDR.

Message from Via-Tonda:Congratulations on taking the next step in becoming a better version of you! I know that this is not always an easy step to make and I commend you for looking for a therapist. Life can throw us lots of curve balls and we may not always know how to navigate those changes in our lives. I am here to help. I take a collaborative approach to therapy and I will never pretend to be the expert of your life because that will always be you. I will, however, listen to you and challenge you to grow to your full potential. It would be an honor to travel this journey of life with you.
